The largest island of the Amirantes group is located 230 km southwest
of Mahé and is the only one which is open to visitors. The island is 5 km
long, 1,5 km wide and has flat reefs surrounding 14 km
of magnificent, white sandy beaches. Desroches is almost completely covered by
coconut-palm and Casuarina trees.
The island with its unique marine world and
14 classified dive sites is especially of interest to divers and underwater
photographers, which offers beginners as well as professionals ideal diving conditions.

and offers Creole cuisine and seafood. The lodge also includes a beach restaurant,
